HIGHLIGHTS OF THE SUMMER 2003


HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI
Owhh, this time I managed to reach home 5 days prior to it, so merasalah nak beraya with famili. As usual, lotsa things to do on the day before raya especially bab2 nak masak and kemas rumah, plus our small tradition of washing bundles of clothes that nite(hahahah!!). So obviously aku and the other 2 girls (kak and adik) kena buat most of the things. I spontaneously created a motto for the year ‘ never let ma see us doing nothing’!!hahah, memang bile nampak ma balik from kedai cepat2 kitorang pegi buat keje or at least pegang sumthing..kekekke..and that was fun though!! Celebration for this year meriah, just like years before. Tapi mase nak solat sunat hari raya, tetiba aku teringat my dear allahyarham Ayah Lah. May Allah bless him…and only GOD knows how much I miss him..2nd day of raya, my house organize bbq for the big famili..it was my abg long’s idea and I was in charge of buying stuffs..meriah!!

CUTI-CUTI MALAYSIA
Heh, this time aku traveled across timur-barat highway to meet up zila in kedah and went up to penang. I had so much FUN during this trip..travel sorang2 ke kedah and lepak umah zila. Next day pekena laksa kedah before boarded to usm nibong tebal. Jumpelah izza, wansue and zihah kat sana..next day nak ke island terpaksa gamble ngan zila..mmg pasrah jeh aa time naik ferri tuh(heh, surprisingly the fare was only 60 cents!) coz xde tourist guide. Tapi Allah nak tolong, last minute dpt contact Julia and she entertained us with ‘shopping and food spree’..wacehhh, aku slamat pegi mkn nasi ayam nazir kat komtar, then cendol kat tepi jln, laksa and pasembor at padang kota(mind u, its all in a day!) plus pegi jejak kasih ‘ali setan’ kat batu feringgi. Phew, mlm tuh Erynn plak bwk ke Penang Fair..huh, nyesal aku masuk umah hantu . Nak luruh jantung aku marah ‘ hantu’ tuh sebab dia kuar dari ‘kotak’ and kacau..urghhh, worst part is I had to walk through that haunted house and kuar2 jeh trase tekak sakit. Well, u know wat I did most of the time in there, aight?? Next day, before balik kedah pegi carik ‘nasi kandar kamal mustapha’ plus dera sorang pakcik beca nih sbb kena usung kitorang balik ke jeti..hehheheh. believe it or not, I fell asleep while watching’ ju on’ that nite with zila and her bro..opss, maybe its too scary for me*shame2!!*
Few trips to kl, went to ssp cyberjaya(cantik!!) and then ukm(yeah, its zila again!). Heh, kecut usus aku naik motor ngan ina ke bangi(rempit sehhh!!)…sib baikla aku tak tergolek-dog kat tepi jln..hahahha…again I fell asleep while listening to Ina’s sweet voice..peace2!!spent some time with my lil adorable syahman, plus went to nyebok at my sis’s place in uia..
Yes2, had my dugong session again at sg congkak. I just love water places so much that I dun mind berendam lama2..alang2 tuh adelah sessi’ hati ke jantung’
sambil mkn2hahahha. There were farina and ida as the alumni plus uda and zila sbg ahli baru..and me??heh, I voted myself as the die-hard fan:p

HOME SWEET HOME
Yerps, I enjoyed lazing away at home. Basically jadik escort for my mum(owhh, missing her damn lots now!) and doing some shopping at the market which took me a few mins walking..heheh, cooking when the mood strike, tapi dinner aku kenala prepare…the rest of the day,its either tgk tv, baca buku cite or online.heheh, plus my prime time of melepek with my mum.. life was so boring when she’s away to school in the morning, that I went on crapping. I was doing part time as tukang urut kaki at nite, heh! Then twice we went to accompany abah to the kebun..owh, that air kelapa and tebu was soo yummy when they were being served under the hut..hehehhe, “pegi kebun bukannye nak mengurus badan nih, dok asik makan jehh”..my other part time was tutoring my cousins and lil sis..by then, I realized why I couldn’t opt for teaching profession..hehehhe. Later during the hols, I joined aerobic at my old primary school(which now my mum’s teaching there)…it was much fun and enjoyed every bit of that. Ala2 special appearance among those matured ppl, which include my standard 2 and 5 class teachers..and yes, my mum is one of the members too..


ONE OF ITS KIND EXPERIENCES
Aku witness this friend of my sis ‘berubat’ sbb ade benda halus dlm badan dia. She went to have’ air penawar’ but that lady decided to treat her on the spot. Maybe she was gifted with it, and personally this was my 1st encounter. I freak out!!seriously, bile dgr akak tuh start menangis2 and menjerit, aku rasa cuak yg amat. I used to listen to all sorts of stories bout this stuff but this one happened right in front of me..pesanan makcik tuh “bykkan zikir and baca ayat qursi’ which I agree with her. Bagi aku, kalamullah tuh lagi ‘power’ than segala tangkal2 or any other pendinding. Cukuplah kalau kite dekatkan diri dgn Allah and berserah pada-Nya.
Heh, hope to be my 1st and last experience in the high court..went there with my parents for my bro’s long call, which is angkat sumpah to become a lawyer..setting dlm tuh sebijik dlm movie with a guard saying “semua bangun…” when the judge came in..spending more than an hour in there drained all my energy as I only SIT and LISTEN..urghhh, buhsan!! Everything was according to the protocols…way to go big bro!!too bad I’m away when u ‘ll have ur 1st paycheck..or else I would wanna claim for all those extra-errands..
Dah nak balik Melbourne, abah ajak bagi pep talk kat skola dia for the upper form students. Isk2, aku nih bukannye reti sgt nak kasi motivation tapi I’d like to give it a try first. Awal2 pagi lg dah kena pegi coz skola tuh dekat kuala krai, mmg nak tido balik jeh dlm keta tuh..alhamdulillah, kire ok aa coz most of the points were based on my own experiences.mula2 tuh shaky gak aa tapi after a while, aku bckp mcm biasa aa…dahla masa after-session, fav Q’s were’ akak, cemana nak elakkan mengantuk dlm kelas?’ and “mcm mana nak study subject yg x minat, cthnye fizik?’ duhhh, before jwb aku dah sengih2 coz mmg kena btg hidung aku!! Akak nih pun dulu lelap jugak dlm klas..heheheh..nak2 klas fizik, dik oiii! Tapi tuh ayat dlm hati jeh aa:p Tapi aku really appreciate this chance, coz it helped me reflecting myself and let others share my bits of experience being away from home.

FULLY GROWN-UP
Hehe, turning 21 is sumthing 'refreshing'!! not that i waited for that day as i enjoyed my teen-years so much...nothing special for the celebration but i do cherish that day of 30th Dis. A list of birthday-cum-newyear resolutions were lingering in my mind that i made a point of writing them down...and it did give me some direction of where i'm leading my life for the years ahead..insya Allah. Especially to ma and abah, all your doings for the past 21 years old are beyond everything..

MY 6TH SENSE
hmm, how i really wanna share this piece of story. tapi tak bolehla sbb i was only the co-actor and its my sis's BIG TIME!!just one thing i can say: do believe in ur instinct and play with the game..hahahhaha!!!!
