the things that i enjoy most
- there are a bunch of happy and contented ppl around the hosp called paediatricians..they might be on the move most of the time and dont hv much time to entertain us, but when they do they'll teach good stuff. they can be teasy and funny at times, which makes them fun to learn with . i've had good experiences with Dr AW & DG for bedsite tutorials especially.
-ED(emergency dept) has been fulfilling too. lotsa 1st hand experiences and good contact with ppl. yes, cant deny that we sometimes being ignored by the busy-bee dr.'s but there'll always someone who are willing to take us thru things and ackowledge our presence. so its not all sweet and ideal but i'd say, still good.
-seeing how the doctors interact with their little patients. they really know their stuff and it really gives a good impression. while us students struggle on making frens the kids, its all breeze to them.
-i'm happy with my case study topic but i've got limited time (and motivation) to sit down and put my effort on it. so it ended up with could've-been-better assignment. nothing i can do really, i'm never good with academic writing.
-my MMC group. 2 caucasian blokes, 4 chicks of malay, indian, chinese and caucasian. dynamic and fun to work with. ohh and H, he's definitely a gentleman;)
-my study group with A,B and S. we meet up weekendly and talk about our appointed topic over some munches. take off some of the stress from the BIG BUNDLE of study that we need to do..i'd say we're doing fine with the discussion plus some side-tracks =p
- when i'm busy, i think of the crap less. when i'm busy, i feel better. when i'm busy, time flies. when i'm busy, again i think of the crap less.
but the hardest thing is actually
-to resist the temptation to cuddle the little babies, pinched the cheek of chubbby girls and ruffle the shy (blushy!) young boys's hair. gerammmmm!! hehehe, u know the time when u need to listen to the doctor's talking to the parents but all you actually wanna do is to play with the kids....sometimes i couldnt help making eye contacts/facial gestures with them before i realised that i missed on the doctor's words...keh keh keh!
